Beckmann Architecture were appointed to carry out concept to completion services for this infill dwelling in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Key to the brief was making the most of the space available, whilst achieving a sense of space and a contemporary open plan layout associated with larger dwellings. This was achieved through a V shaped plan form, vaulted ceilings, exposed oak beams and secret doors to access into the subservient rooms and storage areas, making the best use of all the available space.
